Signagi, Georgia – Walking the Wall

The fortress wall was built in the 1770’s to protect the Kakheti people from attacks by the Dagestani people. It was very impressive!!  It would have been difficult for the Dagestani people to attempt a surprise attack!!! Papakha time – I’m standing in the one of the towers! S, 🙂
