Chakra Three – Solar Plexus Chakra

What Are Chakras?

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel or vortex.

Anodea Judith, a leading authority on the chakra system, defines a chakra as a center of organization that receives, assimilates, and expresses life force energy. ¹

The chakra system refers to the spinning spheres of bioenergetic energy emanating from the major nerve ganglia branching forward from the spinal column. ²

This chakra system of bioenergetic energy branching forward from the spinal column is the location of the seven major chakras in the human energy body. There are also minor chakras in the hands, feet, fingertips and shoulders.

These seven major chakras correlate with basic states of consciousness.

Life Force Energy – Ki and Reiki

Ki is universal life-force energy that surrounds and permeates everything. The amount of Ki, or life-force energy that fills your body varies from day to day – affecting your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Reiki is a specific band or frequency of energy for healing and self-healing that works synergistically with Ki, but at a higher vibration.³

Reiki is easily absorbed, transformed and distributed throughout the physical and energetic bodies, via the chakras, and goes where it’s needed. ⁴
