  1. Oh.my.god. One, this is an amazing photo!! Two, were you diving with sharks??

    1. Snorkeling with the nurse sharks. It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were so close at times, I could have touched them. But, of course, that wasn’t allowed. 🦈🦈🦈

      1. What a fantastic experience!! I’ve only every swum with dolphins…I’m not sure how I would have felt if a shark had turned up to that haha!!

      2. Dolphins! Where did you have that amazing experience? I swam with dolphins over 20 years ago in Cuba! I traded packs of cigarettes to hang out at a “tourist” marina (that was in total disrepair) and had fun swimming with “Junior”, the dolphin. I was surprised at his power as he pushed his snout into the sole of my foot to push me forward, through the water or holding his dorsal fin as he pulled me along! Later, I was allowed to try tricks – Junior would swim up underneath me – place his nose onto the sole of my foot and then push me straight up into the air, onto the dock! Needless to say, that took some practice!!!

      3. Wow!! Now that’s an experience! And Cuba? How fantastic!! It sounds like you had a great time there 🙂 I swam with dolphins at Kaikoura in New Zealand. We did a trip out to sea where there was a huge pod of, I think they were dusky dolphins. It was winter though and I had borrowed a wetsuit which didn’t fit properly. When I jumped in the sea, it was so cold I was quite disorientated. But then I looked under the water and there were dolphins everywhere, swimming around and amongst us. It was amazing…but the main thing I remember is the cold unfortunately!! We also did whale watching there which was fantastic! I had never seen whales before that trip and we saw so many that day..and the dolphins came back to play with the boat, it was quite emotional!

      4. Your experience swimming with dolphins sounds incredible!!!!!!!! Emotional is a wonderful way to describe your day! There is something so awe inspiring when seeing these vulnerable, highly intelligent, beautiful mammals – who represent everything that is fantastic about the ocean! 🐬🐬🐋🐋

      5. That is so true! I have been lucky enough to see dolphins (from a boat) quite a few times and they get me every time!! I would love to do more whale watching though and I’d love to see orcas in the wild. We missed a pod by a few hours when we were in New Zealand, they were moving down the coast and we were going in the opposite direction. One day it will happen though!! 🙂

      6. That is what makes travel so exciting, is that one day it will happen!!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

      7. Thank you, again, for nominating me for the 10 Day Photo Challenge! I really enjoyed it!!!!!

      8. Ah it’s my pleasure 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed it, I did too, it was really good fun to take part… I might resurrect it at some point in the future and do it again!

      9. If you do resurrect, include me! I’d love to do this again. I’ve so many pictures, so many memories. I truly enjoyed revisiting them, during these COVID days….. 💛🎉🌻

      10. I most definitely will, that’s a promise 🙂 It’s definitely a comfort to revisit our past travels isn’t it.

      11. Sure is!!!! 😀😀😀
