5 Principles of Reiki
Just for today, I will not worry
Just for today, I will not be angry
Just for today, I will do my work honestly
Just for today, I will be kind to all living things
Just for today, I will be grateful for my many blessings

“Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.”
I am thinking, in a simple way – how today money and the making of money is the motivation for a career. Even this thought doesn’t explain what I am trying to communicate. It is the frenzy, the glamour, the status, the perception of what is a good career verses what isn’t.
Of course, we all want to be happy in our career. If you’re working a job that doesn’t make you happy – can you view it as a stepping stove to something better? Can you be grateful for the job you have now? A job that allows you to pays your bills and use it to motivate you towards the type of job you would enjoy?
Trust me, I know about jobs as stepping stones! When I was 37 years old – I counted how many jobs I had worked, since I started working at 16 years old. I counted 37 jobs! That was a job for every year I was alive!
I’ve worked many level-entry jobs to make ends meet, trying to find what career would make me happy.
Now, at 51 – I have been working in education for 10 years. As well, I am working towards a future goal of having my own Reiki Practice.
Just for today, I am grateful for my career path, and the plans I have for my future career goals. I continue to take steps to enjoy my career in eduction and do the work necessary to achieve my future goal of my own Reiki Practice!
Be cheerful and strive to be happy!

It is a sad state. We work all our best years in making money and then we want our money to work for us.
