Give Pause To Your Anger
It has been my experience that fear is usually lingering somewhere deep beneath my anger.
When you feel angry, can you take a moment to stop, and pause?
Can you take a look at what is beneath your anger? Can you find the fear and identify what you’re afraid of? Maybe it is fear of losing control, abandonment, being wrong, humiliated or making a mistake?
Can you nurture the fear, the scared inner child, instead of judging and wishing the fear away?
Just for today, I will do my best to nurture the fear, my scared inner child, hidden deep beneath my anger.
