Mount Washington Alpine Ski Resort

Mount Washington, located on the eastern edge of the Vancouver Island Ranges, is home to Mount Washington Alpine Ski Resort.

Michael and I went for an afternoon visit. Michael, a seasoned snowboard and myself a very avid beginner, hit the slopes for an afternoon of fun!

I spent my time on the Bunny Hill….as I’m still learning how to traverse from left to right and transition from heel edge to toe edge.

COVID-19

COVID-19, making an insurgence into mainstream hadn’t quite hit the slopes yet, but the resort did close soon after our visit. This was a bit disappointing as both Michael and I were looking forward for more time snowboarding together!

What time we did have on the mountain was enjoyable, during a beautiful, sunny day!
