Last Full Day in Huatulco
The last full day of any vacation is always bitter sweet. This day is mixed with a sadness to leave, yet an eagerness to return home to regular life. However, this day had another reason to be sad, as this would be Michael and I’s last full day together before we departed ways. His return to British Columbia to prepare the house to be sold for the spring. My return to Nova Scotia, back to work and life as usual in my temporary winter lodgings of a cabin in the woods.
Morning Run
Breakfast at Xipol Restaurant
After returning the scooter, with a full tank of gas, we met Patricia and Joel, P & J, for breakfast at Xipol. We met this fun couple the day before, at this restaurant and ended up having an adventurous day of scootering all over Huatulco! You can read the Day 7 blogs that are provided at the end of this blog!
Chahué Beach
We picked this beach because of the fun waves and truthfully, it was my favorite of all the beaches we visited. Chahué Beach is a beautiful beach, with fun waves to play in and does not get overly busy, jammed pack like La Entrega Beach! The water was beautiful as always, and difficult to leave, knowing it would be our last swim in the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean.
Afternoon Siesta
While Michael and I relaxed…local boys played a game of soccer across the street.
Dinner at Giordanas
We met Patricia and Joel for dinner at one of their favorite spots, Giordanas Italian restaurant. The food was tasty. There was a bit too much sauce on my pasta, but it was still enjoyable. Joel’s mussels were the star of the evening’s food!
Last Minute Souvenir Shopping
After dinner we walked off our full bellies in the centre square of La Crucecita, shopping for last minute souvenirs. We visited a bakery, where I was able to indulge in one of my favourite desserts, creme caramel!
Call it a Day…
Michael and I, both exhausted….called it a day…. <3
