Drive from Rio Copalita to Santa Cruz Bay
Michael and I, following our new Canadian friends Patricia and Joel – P & J, drove from Rio Copalita, or Copalita River to the western most tip of Santa Cruz Bay to see the lighthouse there.
There were lots of interesting sights along the way! Signs that warn for jaguars, termite nests hanging from trees (?), people riding in the back of trucks, businesses catering to Canadians – including a Canadian bank!
Is this a termite’s nest? We saw these hanging “baskets” in a number of trees in Huatulco.
The Lighthouse
The lighthouse is located past La Entrega Beach, on the most western tip of Santa Cruz Bay.
Buenas tardes!
