Copalita River and the town of Copalita are located east of Conejos Bay
Scooter Ride from La Bocana – Surfer Beach to Copalita River
Following our fellow Canadian friends and guides, Patricia and Joel – P & J, we drove from La Bocana Beach towards the town of Copalita, but first had a stop-over at Copalita River.
Copalita River & Rafting
We followed P & J down a dirt road that opened to many shanty huts lining the river. Some huts were vendors, others offered shade.
We didn’t stay here for very long. We had a quick look around, then continued on our way to the town of Copalita! P & J, having been in Huatulco for a few months, commented that the river rafting is touristy, and not that exciting.
Next stop…. was an adventure!!
