La Bocana Beach – Surfer Beach
La Bocana Beach is located on the most eastern tip of Conejos Bay. While Michael and I followed our new Canadian friends Patricia and Joel, the beach was easy to find with signs leading the way!! If you arrive by scooter, as we did, we drove on the sidewalk as the road is make of stones.
The Beach
This beach was a beautiful mixture of wind, waves and seabirds! The water was shallow, yet the waves intense! I don’t remember seeing anyone surf? There were LOTS of seabirds though. Pelicans were a stones throw away while Michael and I played in the waves! The sand was SCALDING hot!!!!! After Michael took my picture, I ran as fast as I could to get into the shade of the restaurant!
Los Güeros Restaurant
Now this was GOOD food! Los Güeros served, in my opinion, the best food of our entire Huatulco vacation! Both Michael and I had the shrimp dish – but I can’t remember if it was garlic shrimp or butter shrimp? The shrimp was so tender and meaty! Like eating a mini lobster tail!! And the glass of wine was a glass of wine!! None of that measured to an ounce nonsense!! The restaurant was filled with both local & domestic tourists and Canadians! Mostly Canadians though!!
After lunch, Patricia & Joel – P & J, and Michael and I – S & M – headed out to our next destination – the town of Copalita!! What an adventure that turned out to be…. !!!!!
Buenas tardes!
S, 🙂
