January 2nd – Just Past 4:00am – Earthquake
I felt it! I was awake, as usual at 4:00am. I was in bed, wide awake when the entire apartment shook for a few seconds and it sounded like a huge truck passed by the window. What I’ve come to learn is what I heard was the earth, quaking! My first earthquake! Mind you, I had no idea it was an earthquake – because it didn’t seem real. It happened so intensely, then stopped – I almost didn’t believe it happened. I can still feel it though when I think about it!

Stephanie, I just have started running again after not running for about 8 years!
(if I say so myself, you are my inspiration!)
I have always walked everyday and now I walk briskly for 5 minutes and then run for 5 minutes (but not so briskly) and continue with that pattern for a half-hour.
So far,all is going well. 🙂
Earthquakes are so scary!
I have never been in one but my husband’s aunt was in a bad one in LA quite a few years ago and had to crawl out of basement apt window (with help, she was very scared but survived the ordeal well. )
Love all the pics you have shared here.
That little doggie is adorable!
And Michael is even climbing that amazing tree, awesome!
Have a wonderful day! <3
Fantastic on the running!! YAYYYY!!!!!!! If I had any inspiration on your running again, then all my effort – that is inspired by the running group I’m a part of – is such a global hug!!!! <3
Earthquakes are not a small thing. I experienced a small one. Thankfully your husband's aunt made it out okay. <3
