Just For Today – I Will Do My Work Honestly

Some mornings, everything seems right.  This is one of those mornings.  This entire weekend, I accomplished a lot and feel really great about it. I am ready for the week!

Every item on my to-do list brought me closer to an end result. Winter tires on the Jeep means safe travels during wintery road conditions. Developing a guided chakra meditation to include during a Reiki Treatment is part of my creative process of developing my personal style of practice. Spending time with my parents and grandchildren deepens family connections. Shopping at a fabulous second-hand clothing store gave me a new-to-me pair of stylish boots, Vera Wang skinny jeans and a beautiful, thick sweater to keep me warm! Cooking healthy meals for the week means I don’t grab quick and easy processed foods when I’m hungry.  Organizing my next to-do list means I’ve managed my time to be the most productive I can be.

Just for today, I will do my work honestly, recognizing a to-do list not as chores but as bringing me closer to an end result, the journey to the end result – to live a healthy, happy life filled with love and joy!

  2. What an uplifting post! I’m so pleased that life is treating you well at the moment! And I like this – ‘recognizing a to-do list not as chores but as bringing me closer to an end result’ – I always look at a to-do list as never-ending chores, maybe I need to try to change my outlook on that one!

    1. Thank you!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 <3
