After snorkeling with nurse sharks, reef sharks, moray eels, lovely coral reef fish, and a Hawksbill sea turtle, it was time to return to our island paradise, Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma!
Because of our enthusiasm and hope to see dolphins during our time out on the water, the boat crew decided to swing by an area of water frequented by them!
We were in luck!!! I was in double luck because I had seen a pod of spinner dolphins the day before on my sea turtle snorkeling tour! Click here to read more about it!
Dolphin tours are offered at our resort. You are told there is a 25% chance of seeing dolphins. If you don’t see dolphins on the tour, then the next tour is free – upping your chances of seeing dolphins to 50%.
We saw them for free and I saw them two days in a row!!!

Spinning Spinner Dolphins!
I was THRILLED to be aiming my camera at the right place at the right time!!!
Spinner Dolphins All Around Us!
Ecstatically Happy Crew and Tourists!!!
The entire crew and us tourists – myself and a lovely couple from Jordan – were ecstatic! Everyone was on such a high!!!!
Here is the difference between the start of the tour – the boat ride and what we saw along the way to the nurse shark snorkeling location:
