Qatar to India – Upgraded to Business Class on Qatar Airways!!

Some airlines – being upgraded to Business Class means more leg room and better food!  Not with Qatar Airways!!  Compared to Economy seating – this was first class all the way!

The flight from Doha to Cochin was jammed packed – and lucky me, I was upgraded to Business Class!

To me, this was a sign that my Ayurvedic retreat vacation was off to a VERY good start!

Starting off with soda water & lemon with a warm facecloth!

I was very tired as the flight departed at 3:00am, therefore turning the seat into a bed was the obvious option!

So I snuggled in with two down-filled pillows and a comfy, thick blanket….and soon fell asleep….

An hour before landing, the flight attendant woke me for breakfast:

And a delicious cappuccino while I watched the classic movie, “Breakfast at Tiffanys”!

Soon after breakfast, we landed in Cochin, India.

And sadly, just like that, my decadent four hours in Business Class was over.

Thank you Qatar Airways for letting me have this rare indulgence!!

    That looks amazing!! How lucky to get an upgrade on your flight, what an absolute treat 🙂 I’m still waiting for that to happen to me haha! I have been looking at business class flights recently though (in the vain hope that I might be able to take one in the not too distance future), so it’s interesting to read your experience on Qatar! It looks great!

      Business Class was surprisingly luxurious – maybe because it was Qatar Airways! I can’t imagine what First Class is like on Qatar Airways – I think they have actual beds!! There were so many little detail – like champagne offered when you first settle in – I don’t drink – so I had soda water! Hot towels, one flight attendant for every ten people – something like that. :))))

        Wow, it sounds incredible! I could get used to that sort of luxury 🙂 It sounds like you were very well looked after! Oh to have an actual bed when flying!!! I imagine I’d feel a darn sight better arriving in Oz after a 24 hour flight than I usually do if I was travelling that way 🙂

        I was thinking the same thoughts of getting used to that style of luxury while flying and Business Class would make the 16 hour flight to Canada a lot easier to take!!!! 🙂
