Rome, Italy – Christmas Day – Roman Forum and Arch of Septimius Severus

These two ancient ruins were really cool – because one , for centuries, was the centre of daily life in Rome, the other  – the Arch of Septimius Severus – has such a cool name!  Not sure if the actual emperor himself was cool – but his name sure was!!!

We walked from the Piazza del Campidoglio to discover the Roman Forum behind it! For centuries, this was the center of day-to-day life in Rome!

Arch of Septimius Severus!  No relation to Severus Snape, I’m sure!!!  🙂
