After a long run of very little breaks since the start of school in August, everyone was very ready for this fun filled week of activities, food and celebration!
Time to sign where I’m from!

Traditional Arabic Clothing
Wearing my abaya and shayla to school! Raina wears a headscarf everyday, but not an abaya. ย Sadia doesn’t cover at all. ย So we three decided we’d wear the traditional Qatar cover of abaya and shayla during wear Qatar colors to school day!

Arabic Mom’s Tent
This tent has food, henna, crafts and games.

Arabic Men’s Tent
This has the falcon and some food! This year’s visiting falcon is three years old and named after his birthplace, Milan.

Milan the Falcon

International Buffett
The International Buffett is the other highlight after the Parade of Flags. ย Basically food from every continent and dozens of countries are cooked up and served by the moms of the school! ย Japan is my go-to country for food for their sushi, dumplings and this chicken in an orange sauce that is THE BEST!!!!
