Al Khor Park – The Bird Aviary & Animals

An Afternoon Adventure

This was an adventure to find out exactly what this big netted tent that looks like a bird aviary, located off the Shamal road in Al Khor, was!

Al Khor Park

I was hoping for a falcon aviary, but what I found was a park!

It was closed for maintenance, so I wasn’t able to walk inside of it.

So I checked out the animals in the animals display area!  I’m not sure of the specific type of animals beyond the obvious as there wasn’t any signage to tell me!

Then this cranky ostrich!  She hissed at me then walked away holding her wings in a funny way!

    1. The cranky ostrich is actually another one – there were 3 in total! The cranky ostrich was off being cranky on her own!! LoL!!!
