Since I was a young woman, in my early twenties – I’ve ALWAYS loved playing a game of pool.  The best is in a pub, having a few beverages and laying a loonie on the table to wait for a turn.  My secret dream was, for once, to run the table for a few games.

Be that girl playing pool the guys think they can beat….. and can’t.

My secret dream FINALLY came true!!!!  I won three games in a row!!!! Mind you……I won two games because the other guys scratched on the eight ball, but hey!!!!  That counts!!!!

Here is a group shot of the guys playing pool who I joined in with! Michael didn’t join in – he coached me along at a few shot, but basically I help my own!  They were a great group of guys!  Fun, easy going and polite. The dude with the tattooed sleeve and red hat should have beat me – easily – he made an fantastic jump shot, sinking the ball he was aiming for but scratched because when the other balls scattered, the eight ball sank too.

Still, it was awesome to be that girl the guys were lining up their loonies for on the pool table to try and beat!!!  And for three games I had my glory!!!!!
