Now here I could have sat all afternoon, sipped wine and tasted the delicious food of the island…but with only so much time and so much more to see……we sat and enjoyed while we could!
Little Venice is next to the Windmills. This is a view of Little Venice from the Windmills.
The beach between The Windmills and Little Venice:
Entering Little Venice:
Little Venice is a section of the Chora of Mykonos, on the water lined with restaurants!
We finally found a table on the water! It was at the restaurant Veranda.
I had a spinach and mushroom crepe, Michael had a club house sandwich!
View out on the water:
The water below our feet…. With lots of fish! Can you spot them?
The fish would be swept up with the water onto to ledge and swept back out again. I unsuccessfully tried to capture this on video – but did capture a nice video of the area!
After lunch it was time for more exploring…this is leaving the restaurant!
And our walk up into the maze of narrow streets within the centre of the Chora!
This was when I started to fall in love with the charm and romance of Mykonos!!
