Who knew!! This Canadian didn’t know that, many years ago fellow Canadian Leonard Cohn fell in love with Hydra (can’t say I blame him!), bought a house – and didn’t change a thing!!! I didn’t see the house….I did see a tribute to him!! Sat on it!!! 🙂
Leonard met his muse of 10 years on Hydra, Marianne Jensen. Marianne is the subject of his song So Long Marianne and his inspiration for Bird on a Wire.
ps…….. The only singing I heard were the cicadas!!!

Your day in Hydra was well documented.A true island with no cars only feet, mules etc for transport 😘.On to the cliff side beaches, your coastal walk up the steps and a lady painting made for a serene setting. The rustic wharf followed by designer steps showed your eye 👀 for capturing the beauty you are in and the Michael sign to guide your way ♥️.I was tired and thirsty following this XI part bog 😍One can understand L Cohn being drawn to this rustic peace and beauty.
And mussels, need I say more.🤗 Well done Stephanie!!!🌹
Thanks mama!!!! xoxoxo
