Ingonish Beach, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia

Our drive to Cape Breton Island was a fond one for me as I spent many summers of my childhood there.  Those days were spent on the south side of the island in Arichat  on Forgeron Road at the home of my grandparents!

Michael and I headed north to travel the famous Cabot Trail on the Baddeck side along the Bras d’Or Lake to make our way to Ingonish Beach to visit friends.

The drive was beautiful as we journeyed through the Cape Breton Highlands to Cape North  to rest our heads at the AirBnB we rented.

We spend the next day enjoying our friends wonderful company at their cottage at Ingonish Beach.  The beach was beautiful!

We then returned to get a good night sleep in Cape North to prepare to head off for St. John’s, Newfoundland the next day!

Love, Stephanie  xo
