Interlaken, Switzerland

We did not spend a whole lot of time exploring this lovely village.  This was the town we drove through that took us to Beatenburg.

We spent an afternoon walking around the town, mainly to rent snowboards and buy groceries.  Then that evening we went to Ice Magic enjoying hot chocolate and mulled wine as we walked around looking at the ice skaters, and teams playing something that looked like curling.  We enjoyed a delicious sausage with mustard!  Then froze our Canadian butts off because we weren’t dressed warm enough and, halas we’re now climatized to the Middle Eastern heat and find anything below 20 degrees Celsius cold!!  Meanwhile, there was a small Christmas Market with the few vendors handling the cold like pros as we shivered!!

Here is a wee look at this lovely town!!

Love, Stephanie  xoxo
