Today during a romantic, rainy afternoon we chilled at the famous cafe Les Deux Magots.
Les Deux Magots once had a reputation as the rendezvous location of the literary and intellectual elite of the city. Names such as Simone de Beauvoir, Jean-Paul Sartre, Ernest Hemingway, Albert Camus, Pablo Picasso, James Joyce, Bertolt Brecht, and Julia Child are but a few who would frequent the cafe.
The Deux Magots Literary Prize (Prix des Deux Magots) has been awarded to a French novel every year since 1933 at Les Deux Magots.

Lunch is Served
Our food was so delicious. The glasses of wine filled to the brim. Mustard is a regular table condiment at restaurants, this mustard was wasabi hot. Really good with the beef.
Time for Dessert
Desserts were displayed on a tray. I picked the cheesecake, as is my favorite dessert choice along with a crisp Chardonnay. The combination was spectacular. We finished with a hot chocolate. Les Deux Magots is also famous for their hot chocolate. I understand why. This was rich, smoothy and deliciously creamy.
Ohhhhh mmmmm gggggg that looks absolutely beautiful. Love the picks Chickie!!!!! So happy for you💜 Toodles
