Paris, France – Dinner at Au Chai de l’Abbaye

Au Chai de l’Abbaye

Our first full day in Paris ended with dinner at the restaurant across from street from our Airbnb apartment building called Au Chai de l’ Abbaye.

Escargot and champagne.

Escargots de Bourgogne – Burgundy snails

Filet de Boeuf Cèpes Gratin Dauphinoisbeef tenderloin with mushroom gravy and a puffed pastry twist on a classic French dish of thinly sliced potatoes baked in a creamy sauce with garlic and cheese.

Poulet Du Cantal au Jus.

Chicken Cantal with juice – chicken cooked in the style of the Cantal region in France.

Soufflé & champagne.

Soufflé with Grand Marnier

The escargot dripped in garlic.

The steak melted in my mouth.

The soufflé an explosion of creaminess topped off with the sweet tickle of champagne.

Aah… Paris…
